Beginning ten years ago with the September 11th attacks on America in New York and Washington, D.C. followed by the meltdown in our financial markets, we have experienced a decade of tumultuous change in America that has left us reeling as a country.  The level of anxiety in our public discourse has spiked in part because of these difficulties and our fundamental disagreement on how to solve problems. The Village Square concept, in part, came from our growing unease that the shocks we've endured have thrown us off course as a people.  You can read our Village Square founding tale HERE .  We'll spend the 2011-12 Dinner at the Square season sorting through these fundamental changes in our lives and learning how to recover from them.  It just won't be the same if you're not there.
