You've found yourself in a unique spot on the internet, a spot where civility reigns.  Where people behave as neighbors who see each other at the mailbox or in the grocery store rather than mortal enemies fighting over the last drop of water on planet earth.  Where diversity of opinion is not only tolerated, but seen as a creative force in solving problems (maybe the most profound insight of our Founders in this whole amazing experiment of democracy).

We are insistent on the whole do-unto-others thing on this website and will not be shy in enforcing it.  You're at our home and those are house rules. If you don't like our rules, you've got the whole rest of the internet where you can vent your spleen and we will happily send you along your way to do so.
